Cathodic Protection Cable
Single conductor, 600 Volt
Cathodic protection cable is suitable for direct burial applications, such as pipelines, storage tanks, pilings, well casings, cables, marine crafts, along with any other burial or water submerged metallic structures. Cathodic protection cable is a stranded copper conductor that is insulated with a high molecular weight polyethylene (HMWPE) compound that provides strong resistance to abrasion, crushing, chemicals, oil, and moisture. The materials we use in the production of our cathodic protection cable are all natural materials. The copper conductor is rated for 600 volts.
HMWPE cable, also known as high molecular weight polyethylene cable, is primarily used for direct burial applications in the utilities industries, due to its ability to resist abrasion, crushing, chemicals, oil, and moisture. The HMWPE jacketing allows for the direct burial in soil or submersion in water without damaging the copper conductor within. The use of HMWPE prevents corrosion in tanks, pipelines, or other buried and submerged metallic surfaces. The copper conductor is rated for 600 volts.
